Imperative verbs

OVERVIEW

A verb is a word that tells you what a person, animal, or thing does. Another way to describe verbs is to say that they are action words or doing words.

This activity introduces imperative verbs - these ones are bossy! Imperative verbs tell you what to do. They go at the start of a sentence and turn it into a command. Turn the three sentences into bossy sentences using imperative verbs. This activity has also been designed for handwriting practice.
